I was very happy to see so many people at the forum on 6/4 as we began our process of discernment on whether or not we will become an Open and Affirming congregation. There were seven small groups with at least six participants in each group that were facilitated by members of our congregation. They had some very good discussions with many common threads. For instance: Why are we doing this? How will this change our congregation? If you were unable to attend and/or would like to have a personal conversation with one of the Diversity Group members please call Jan Losi (876-1967) or Nancy Kresge (873-4173). This was just the beginning of a very exciting process in the life of Nativity. Watch the monthly newsletter and bulletins for future events. The next one will be Sunday, September 24 after worship service.
